Ways to Help our School

Friendsville Elementary has the opportunity to win money from Kohl's Department Stores.  See the below post from the Blount County Schools' website:

Kohl's Cares® 10th anniversary donation...

In celebration of Kohl's Cares® 10th anniversary, we're donating $500,000 to 20 schools each for a total of $10 million.

Voting ends September 3, 2010!

Step 1: Go to facebook.com and sign up for an account! You may skip all the steps about posting a picture or adding friends. Then access your email to confirm your facebook account.

Step 2: Go to facebook.com/kohls. The Kohls Cares tab should be selected. Click the “like” button to accept the Kohls page.

Step 3: Click on the “Vote For Your School” button. Click “allow” on the requesting permission for information button.
*Don’t be alarmed by this section. Kohls will not be collecting your information, this is just a step in the Facebook process. Contest Organizers have confirmed this.

We understand not everyone may be willing to open a Facebook account, but this would be a great opportunity to help the schools.

You may create one for voting purposes only and you can always cancel your account when the contest is over.
